2. WHEN WILL THE ITEMS BE SHIPPED
If we have the items you ordered in-stock, orders placed Monday thru Friday will be shipped within one week.
3. SALES TAX
A state sales tax of 7% is applied to all blankets shipped to locations within Nebraska. We are required by law to collect sales taxes on shipments to those states where we are located. All sales are FOB point of origin. Please pay your consumer use tax for your area where required.
4. PAYMENT
We gladly accept credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover), business checks or money orders.

5. UNAVAILABLE ITEMS
While we will make every effort to fulfill your order, occasionally certain items may be unavailable. If we are unable to produce a certain item for any reason, you will be contacted immediately.
6. SHIPPING RATES AND SERVICES
Dara & Co. uses Standard Ground service on nearly all shipments. We may use various carriers as the situation dictates. If the item(s) are in stock, please allow 3-7 business days for your merchandise to arrive based on your location. Delivery options are only available within the continental United States excluding P.O. Boxes. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. For Standard Ground service, use the table below to determine your shipping and handling costs for shipments in the USA.

8. CUSTOM COLORS AND DESIGNS
The development of custom colors and fabric designs similar to the Dara Swirl pattern are also available. Consider placing your client’s name, initials or their company’s name within their own fabric design. Call for pricing.
9. CONTENT
The Signature Throw Collection is made with special Polyester yarn. Each plush fabric throw is heat formed producing a varied pattern that is amazingly soft and luxurious. Our blankets are further distinguished by our fabric manufacturer providing Dara & Co.:
o Fabric Colors that were developed to specific Pantones as selected by Dara
o Fabric weights that are exceptional and not routinely available
o Lush Pile lengths that most others don’t provide and are not readily obtainable
o An EXCLUSIVE Dara & Co. pattern in our Signature Throw Collection (A little of “Dara” in every blanket)
No expense has been spared in their design and production.
10. PACKAGING
Blankets include an authentic Dara & Co. hangtag and are packaged in a clear protective zippered bag. We do not offer gift wrapping at this time. However, the blanket may be folded and tied with a ribbon (included) for an elegant presentation!
11. LEAD
It is important to note that with recent concerns over lead contamination in children’s products, we had our fabric tested by two independent labs that did not detect any measurable lead in our fabrics 1,2. All blankets, from Dara & Co., proudly surpass the CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) Lead and Phthalates level requirements 3. You can assure your customers and the most important people in their life our products are safe and free from lead and phthalates.

12. RETURNS/EXCHANGES
We think you're going to love our products. Returns or exchanges may be submitted via email within 10 days of the invoice date. Please email us with the request at Dara@DaraAndCo.com. All emails will be responded to within 48 hours.
Original and returning shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the merchandise was shipped incorrectly or if the product arrives and is defective (damaged from shipping, etc).
In order to receive the outlined refund on any returned merchandise, it must be unwashed and in excellent condition - complete with original hangtags, packaging, etc. Please allow up to 10 business days for your return / exchange to be processed once we receive it back to our warehouse. Dara & Co. has made every effort to accurately display the products featured on this web site. However, the colors we display may appear different than the color of our actual fabrics due to the settings and capabilities of your computer monitor. Dara & Co. cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color, texture, or merchandise details will be accurate. Please remember, however, that Dara & Co. guarantees your satisfaction with any merchandise order. We hope that you can appreciate that colors may vary due to fabric or manufacturer's dye lots. Dara & Co. does not guarantee consistency in shades, but does guarantee quality fabric and workmanship!
14. CARING FOR YOUR FABRIC MASTERPIECES
Blankets
For best results, we prefer to have the blankets Dry Cleaned to help keep their original plush and luxurious feel and look. However, you may have concern over dry cleaning our Baby Travel Blankets and our Baby Blankets due to the associated use of chemicals; Therefore, you may wash on gentle cycle COLD and lay flat to dry for relatively comparable results. The Baby Travel Blankets and Baby Blankets will be ready to use the following day. If you must, you can air tumble the blanket however the rose pattern will begin to lose its design after multiple washings. WARNING: Heat will destroy the rose pattern and thus only wash with COLD water!
Burp Cloths
Although all items are heirloom quality, every burp cloth is machine washable, durable and made to use over, and over again.
Christening Gown
Wash by hand with the soap identified in your packet that came with the heirloom ensemble or Dry Clean. It is very important that the gown is cleaned immediately after the ceremony so any spills, oil from the hands or bodily fluids do not make the translucent fabric turn yellow. With special care, your couture gown will last for generations.
15. PRODUCTION SITES
Relationships exist with more than one fabric and sewing company as well as with companies that serve as both the fabric supplier and the sewing manufacturer in China. These relationships ensure that the supply is not merely tied to one company. If one company has production issues, transition to one or more companies could be facilitated. Similarly, another company in South Korea could be called upon if trade issues with China become a reality. While supply and manufacture relationships exist in the USA, cost issues prohibit this as the primary vehicle in either the fabric supply chain or in the sewing and manufacturing process.
The majority of our Masterpieces are made in China by a family owned and operated company who specialize in quality items and personal relationships. A small percentage of Dara & Co. products are still “Made in U.S.A.”.
16. CHILD LABOR
We visited all of the factories and have been assured by our business partners that no child labor is employed in the production of any Dara & Co. Fabric Masterpiece. A business partnership was formed with a family owned business in China that held philosophic beliefs comparable to Dara & Co.’s. It is also important to note that our sewing company has similar values toward its employees. A company whose experienced adult workers smiled and sewed in a climate controlled area with drapes and ribbons on the windows.

Dara & Co. has taken measures to ensure that shopping DaraAndCo.com is a safe and enjoyable experience for our valued customers.
